Hailsham Autobody Repairs was established in 1982 by Tim Davies. The company grew quickly and by appointing the best technicians, soon developed a reputation for outstanding quality work. That reputation has grown year after year and to this day, due to the longevity and retention of those highly skilled technicians, we have evolved into one of the finest accident repair centres in East Sussex.
My name is Brian Johnson. I worked for Hailsham Autobody Repairs for 16 years before leaving to explore other avenues in the motor trade. I came back in 2019 and bought the business. I bring over 40 years of body repair experience with me having worked for large corporates and two well respected bodyshop groups, as Operations Director.

Most people believe that when they have an accident, they are duty bound to go to their insurance companies approved repairer. But approved is exactly what it is. By law, no insurance company can mandate a repairer. The choice is completely yours and if your insurance company insists, you should ask for it in writing. I can guarantee you they will back down.
Now days, some insures have added additional excess payments if you do not take your car to the repairer of their choice. We can offer excess support payments to cover this, so you will not be out of pocket and uphold your right to take your vehicle to the repairer of your choice.
